Born and raised in Japan, I enjoyed painting as a child. It became clear at an early age that I was destined for a career in fine arts. My work can be described as realistic with a European and Japanese flavor. After graduating from Musashino Art University College, Japan, I worked at housing exterior company for several years as a professional perspective creator. I then went on to pursue my passion in watercolor painting.
I have been invited to prestigious international exhibitions in Thailand, Korea and Japan. My work has been juried into the Transparent Watercolor Society of America's national exhibition and Watercolor West International exhibition. My work has also been featured on the cover of the French magazine ‘Pratique des Arts’ as the cover story for an interview with me. My artwork has also been featured in International Artist Magazine.
Recently, I took up oil painting again after a long time of focusing on watercolor. With regained passion for oil paint, I have became a juried associate member of Oil Painters of America. My oil portrait process and floral watercolor process were featured in a Daniel Smith Newsletter.
I enjoy expressing myself artistically and find that it is a fulfilling passion for my life.
