ONLINE Nature Sketchbook: HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW?
LAURIE KATHLEEN CLARK

Sunday, July 14

1:30pm - 3:30pm (Pacific Time)

$30

Online using Zoom. Video tutorial is available to students for one year.

Track how your garden grows through the seasons in your sketchbook or garden journal. We will create a "phenology wheel". Phenology is nature’s calendar—charting when cherry trees bloom or when a robin builds its nest and when leaves turn color in the fall. Together we will create a way to remember all the stages of one plant, seed to blossom, or the whole garden and when each plant reached maturity or what animals and birds came to the garden and when. Not only informative, a phenology wheel can be a thing of beauty that is an excellent way to record how your garden grows and when to begin next year's garden.
