The Artist's Way with Juliana Aldous
We are excited to have Juliana Aldous join us at Cloud 9!
In Juliana’s own words:
I’ve spent the past 25 years in the learning and publishing industry, and I plan to spend the next decade helping others add purpose, direction, and creativity to their lives. I’ve worked for major publishers fostering book ideas into bestselling series. I was also at the forefront of the online learning revolution at both Microsoft and Lynda.com.
While online learning is great—I believe that community and camaraderie from being in a local classroom can’t be beat. Time spent away from our screens and with one another is a great way to learn and make a connection with others.
I am offering workshops on The Artist’s Way, Deep Work, Digital Minimalism, and more to come. I look forward to helping you develop your purpose and creativity!
For more information about me and my workshops, please visit my website or email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Juliana’s upcoming workshops include:
The Artist’s Way Workshop
Adults ages 16+
“As you move toward a dream, the dream moves toward you.”
Wednesdays 6pm - 8pm
12 week series based on one of the best books written about creativity, Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way
September 11 – December 4, 2019 (no class November 27th)
This workshop is really about how to grab your creative life by the lapels… because sometimes it’s hard to know how to even begin; apologetically Enthusiastically? Cautiously? Although the workshop is in the context of being creative, it is really about living a full, passionate and authentic life.
The Artist’s Way has helped countless artists, writers, and those wishing to live a more creative life find their spark and the space to carve time out of their busy schedule to create. Working through writing and exploration, the workshop will inspire you to see what is holding you back and will give you a path to move forward. Outside of class, you’ll keep a Morning Pages journal and take weekly Artist Dates with yourself. The class itself at Cloud 9 Art School serves as a home base to share your journey and spark inspiration in one another. Topics in class include covering the Basic Principles of the Artist’s Way, the introduction of Morning Pages and Artist Date process, recovering a sense of self and carving out a place for Art and Creativity in your life. Please bring a copy of The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron to class. Books are available through Amazon, or, better yet, make your first Artist’s Date with yourself a visit to your favorite independent book store or local library branch.
