In this two hour online class, you will paint a small painting of a bird in snow using a reference provided as part of the class. The techniques demonstrated in this quick rendering include working on 400 grit sandpaper using pan pastels, soft pastels and a few pastel pencils. Painting feathers, atmosphere and small details in a small format will be addressed.

A supply list and photo reference will be sent to students prior to class.

*While this class is not advanced, some experience with the medium would be helpful. Suggested Pre-Requisite: ONLINE BEGINNING PASTEL PAINTING CLASS (click here for more information) taken prior to this class, or some experience with hard pastel, soft pastel and pastel pencil.
