Here is the remedy . . .

We have all gone a little crazy for chickens; many households have added these beautifully adorned, personality plus critters to the roster of their pets. I am excited to announce the addition of a series of classes dedicated to chickens in a variety of media, "Counting Your Chickens.” Each month will feature a different chicken class.

In the October session you will learn to render a chicken with scratchboard and then add some color in key spots with ink, dye made specifically for scratchboard, colored pencil, or even watercolor. The choice will be yours. I will demonstrate using Derwent Inktense Colored pencils and water for a light wash.

You will learn the basics of scratchboard and focus on rendering a chicken's feathers.

 A supply list will be sent to students prior upon registration.
