Yesterday Gabi Campanario led another one day workshop on iPad Drawing and Painting with Apple Pencil and Procreate App.

The workshop offers a comprehensive overview of ProCreate, the drawing app of choice for many illustrators, designers and artists. Through specific indoor and outdoor exercises, students create digital artworks and learn how to archive and share them,  how to use layers, import and manipulate reference images, select sketching and painting tools and apply color.

Here are some participants from yesterday's iPad workshop eagerly sketching away in Bothell. It was raining all day but they still managed to complete the urban sketching portion of the class by taking cover under an awning on picturesque Main Street. Today’s attendees included an architecture professor from Pullman, an interior designer from Bremerton and a family of three who drove all the way from San Francisco, just to name a few participants.

Gabi Campanario, a staff artist at The Seattle Times and founder of Urban Sketchers. His workshops are limited to 12 and fill up quickly. His next workshop at Cloud 9 in June is full but we just opened up an Urban Sketching Bothell September workshop. You can learn more about it here
